The matt surface of the stone, the stone with a gloss between 15 and 25 degrees, can be called a matt surface. The gloss of this interval is soft and does not appear rough, which can present a very distinctive decorative effect. So, what are the stages of stone matt surface technology? Next, let's take a look with the editor of Fabulous Group.

The first stage: waxing
The method is to grind the stone as a whole to 300# or 500#, and then polish it with stone wax. The wax can infiltrate the surface of the polished stone, showing a matt effect.
This method is simple to operate and the effect is good. But the biggest problem with waxing is low hardness and poor wear resistance; frequent repeated operations are required to barely maintain a short-term decorative effect. Every time before waxing, it needs to be waxed. Time-consuming, laborious, and easy to pollute the environment. Therefore, this method was only adopted very early and has now been abandoned.
The second stage: polishing or polishing treatment
The method is to grind the stone as a whole to 300# or 500# to make the bottom light reach about 25 degrees, then wipe the polished stone surface with a light-enhancing protective agent or a polishing protective agent, and finally make a layer of crystallizer on top polishing.
gloss-enhancing or polishing-type protective agent can infiltrate the polished stone surface to make the stone clear and bright. This method can also achieve a matte effect. However, this method also has two problems: one is the gloss-increasing protective agent used, and its silicone oil components will volatilize, resulting in different shades of color. The touch-up protective agent can also cause the color of the stone to increase and deepen; in addition, the matte surface maintained by crystals is still not durable. Frequently washed with water, the crystalline layer is easily dissolved in water and destroyed.

The third stage: new matt processing technology
Stone care technology is a process of constantly summing up experience and shortcomings, and the technology is constantly rising. After understanding the defects of the previous waxing, polishing, and polishing methods, we have the next technical idea to seek a breakthrough-this is: under the premise of reducing the impact on the stone, improving the wear resistance of the matte surface ——We recommend the method of sealing glaze. Specific steps are as follows:
Step 1: On the general stone, use the grinder in turn, and match the polishing pads 50#, 150#, 300#; if it is super soft stone, add another 500# polishing pad.
Step 2: For each number segment, "#" is cross-polished at least 5 times, the gloss is about 25 degrees, and the surface is even and fine.
Step 3: Use "crystal surface machine + scouring pad + VD stone sealing glaze No. 2" for overall sealing glaze treatment. Choose 1~2 square meters each time, take an appropriate amount of Sealing Glaze No. 2 on the ground, and toss it evenly.
Step 4: The whole glaze can be sealed 1~2 times, the matt is soft and uniform, and the texture is outstanding.
【Note】The glaze should not be sealed more than 2 times, otherwise it will throw a glossy surface and lose the matt effect.
