Glossiness is a problem that everyone pays more attention to in stone care engineering. Many people even use it as a measure of the quality of the project. So, how to measure the effect of stone polishing? Next, let's take a look with the editor of FABULOUS Group.

1. Vertical angle: It can test the clarity of the stone.
Inspection method: Turn on the lights on the roof and observe the outline of the lights formed on the stone. Where there is no light, turn on the flashlight function in the phone; or brighten the screen and place it 20~30cm away from the stone surface for observation.
The clearer the outline, it means that the light is not scattered, the polished surface is crystal clear, and the definition is high.
On the contrary, after some projects are completed, although the test gloss is not low, it always looks like a circle of halo, and no clear outline of the light can be seen. It proves that the degree of polishing is not fine enough, only the surface is smoothed, but the gloss is not clear.

2. Side light angle: After observing the vertical details, we expand the observation range. Look at the maintenance effect from the perspective of backlight and forward light.
is facing the angle of the main light source, looking sideways. This angle can test the brightness of the stone, as well as whether there are chicken feet, cracks, scratches and other defects on the surface.
Follow the angle of the main light source and observe sideways. From this perspective, when the light is the strongest, the color and pattern of the stone can be checked.
Next, we will observe the overall effect. Turn on the various light sources. Such as opening doors and windows, turning on lights, etc. On a large scale, observe the overall effect from all angles.
