1, grassroots treatment
Before paving, first make sure that the plastering layer is flat and vertical ≤4mm/2m; in the local hollow area, use a wire brush and a spatula to shovel the grout that is adhered to the surface layer and then level it, and at the same time fully moisten it. Construction of the base surface; finally use a broom to clean up the dust and garbage.
2, bouncing line division
After the base surface is placed for about 3-4 days, it can be divided into grids and elastic lines, and at the same time, the standard points of the surface layer can be attached to control the flatness of the finished surface.
3, modulate tile glue
(1) Add tap water to the mixing barrel, and then add the paste in an amount. The mixing ratio is generally: 1 part water: 4 parts dry powder (for details, please refer to the product packaging instructions), stir evenly into a paste with a low-speed electric mixer.
(2) After hydration (standstill) for 5-10 minutes, it can be used after a second stirring for about 3 minutes. (After hydration, the adhesive cannot be mixed with water or dry adhesive powder, otherwise it will affect the bonding effect).
(3) Pick up the evenly mixed adhesive with a dusting knife and turn it upside down. The adhesive will fall from the dusting knife in about 5 seconds. At this time, the viscosity of the adhesive is the best.
Note: The adhesive needs to stand for 5-10 minutes after preparation. The working time of the adhesive is 2 hours at room temperature. (Operational time refers to the time from completion of preparation to use)
4, apply tile glue
Use the straight edge of a toothed spatula on the ground substrate to apply a layer of adhesive evenly. The thickness of the adhesive is determined by the size of the surface material.
Use a toothed spatula to comb the adhesive in the vertical direction into full and uninterrupted jagged stripes, and comb it again in the horizontal direction.
When tile back coating, you need to use a toothed plaster to evenly wipe the tile glue into a jagged shape. Note that when squeezing the glue, the base surface and the large slab need to be scraped in the same direction to facilitate air discharge and avoid the phenomenon of cracking and falling due to hollowing of the tile glue.
5. Transport and paving
Use a three-hole glass suction tool to lift the large slab and move the construction position, and place it on the paved tile glue base surface. At least two workers are required to carry it, and the larger area is to be carried by a moving rack.
The pasting order of large rock slabs is "from the inside out". The fullness of the adhesive must be ensured to avoid hollowing.
According to the design requirements, the appropriate specifications of the locator should be used when the large rock board is pasted to ensure that the size of the seam meets the design requirements and the width of the seam is consistent.
6, flatten and compact
Pave the rock slab evenly on the base layer, use a rubber hammer to slap the rock slab evenly, to facilitate the discharge of air bubbles, tap the surface to make the bottom surface fully eaten, so as to avoid hollowing. Use a rubber hammer to flatten the tile surface, and measure it with a ruler to ensure that the tile is level.
You can also use a flat-plate vibrator to adjust the surface material to a level. The adjustable time of the adhesive is 30 minutes, that is, the large rock slab can be moved and adjusted within 30 minutes after pasting.
7, leveling treatment
Insert the leveler base every 60cm around the edge of the large plate that has been positioned. After checking the leveling, insert the leveling wedge and clamp the leveler, adjust the surface flatness of the adjacent large plates, and adjust the large plate gap to about 2mm for convenience Follow-up beauty seam agent treatment.
8. Empty drum inspection
One hour after paving, you can tap the brick surface with a small hammer to check whether there is an empty drum. If you hear the "empty" sound, you must try to re-pave. The caulking construction can be carried out 24 hours after the paving construction is completed.
9, the board surface is clean
24 hours after the completion of the paving construction, clean the leveler and carry out the joint filling construction. The joint filling should be filled with flexible or elastic materials. After the caulking agent is cured, clean the excess curing agent with cleaning wool to keep the board surface clean.
